Choose ‘LOVE’, Everyday.
More than a motto. A way of leading.
Every day, we’re faced with countless decisions.
Some are small.
Some change the course of our lives.
Will we choose comfort or growth?
Fear or faith?
Ego or humility?
Excuses or responsibility?
For me, every decision comes back to one question:
Will I choose love?
Not the kind of love defined by emotion.
The kind defined by action.
The kind that tells the truth.
Keeps its promises.
Raises the standard.
Shows grace without lowering expectations.
Believes in people before they believe in themselves.
This is the philosophy that has shaped my life, my coaching, my faith, and the way I lead.
It is the heartbeat of everything I do.

What Does “Choose Love” Mean?
Love has become one of the most misunderstood words in our culture.
Many people think love means avoiding hard conversations, lowering expectations, or making life easier.
I believe the opposite.
Love is responsibility.
Choosing love means choosing what helps someone grow—even when it’s uncomfortable.
It means choosing:
- Discipline over excuses.
- Accountability over blame.
- Growth over comfort.
- Unity over ego.
- Service over recognition.
- Faith over fear.
- Purpose over popularity.
Love doesn’t lower the standard.
Love believes you’re capable of reaching it.
Why Basketball?
People often ask why basketball is at the center of my work.
The answer is simple.
Basketball isn’t my mission.
It’s my classroom.
Every practice teaches discipline.
Every game tests character.
Every teammate teaches relationships.
Every setback reveals identity.
Basketball gives us daily opportunities to practice choosing love—in how we compete, communicate, respond to adversity, and lead others.
That’s why I say: Basketball is the vehicle. Leadership is the outcome.

College Comittment Celebration with My Girls! It’s an absolute joy to watch young women achieve their goals. They put in the work, trusted my love and the outcome took care of itself.
