“Love isn’t lowering the standard. Love is having the courage to raise it.”
About Coach Audrey Taylor
I don’t believe basketball changes lives.
I believe people do.
Basketball is simply one of the greatest classrooms I’ve ever known.
For more than two decades, I’ve coached athletes to compete at the highest levels of the game. I’ve celebrated championships, developed collegiate players, and led nationally recognized programs. Those experiences have shaped me—but they are not what defines me.
What defines me is the little girl who learned that love could exist in the middle of chaos.
Growing up, life wasn’t always stable. Addiction, uncertainty, and brokenness were part of my story long before trophies and championships ever were. My grandmother became my anchor. Basketball became my refuge. Faith became my foundation.
Looking back, I realize God wasn’t just teaching me how to survive.
He was preparing me to serve.
Today, I see every practice, every conversation, and every challenge as an opportunity to help someone discover who they are becoming—not just what they are capable of doing.
That is why I created my Choose Love theory.
Choose Love isn’t about feelings. It’s about responsibility.
It’s choosing discipline over excuses.
Choosing truth over comfort.
Choosing accountability over blame.
Choosing growth when quitting feels easier.
Choosing to see the potential in others before they see it in themselves.
That philosophy shapes everything I do.
As a coach, I build cultures where standards and compassion coexist.
As a mentor, I help young women develop confidence, resilience, and leadership that extends far beyond the court.
As the founder of Passion 4 Youth and creator of the EDGE System, I’m committed to building systems that remove barriers, create opportunity, and develop leaders who will impact their families, communities, and future generations.
Because my mission has never been to produce better basketball players.
My mission is to develop better leaders.
Basketball is the vehicle. Leadership is the outcome.

What I Believe
I believe leadership is learned.
I believe discipline creates freedom.
I believe every young person deserves someone who sees their potential before they see it themselves.
I believe healing and high standards can exist together.
I believe faith gives purpose to the process.
And I believe that love isn’t lowering the standard.
Love is having the courage to raise it.
My Mission
My mission is to help athletes, coaches, parents, and leaders choose discipline over excuses, growth over comfort, and purpose over recognition.
Through coaching, writing, speaking, and the EDGE System, I want to build environments where people become the strongest version of themselves—not only in competition, but in life.
Because championships fade.
Character doesn’t.
Legacy isn’t measured by the banners hanging in a gym.
It’s measured by the lives we help transform.
Let’s Build Something That Lasts
Whether you’re an athlete chasing your dream, a parent searching for the right environment, a coach committed to building culture, or someone navigating your own season of growth, I’m glad you’re here.
I hope this space challenges you to think differently, lead intentionally, and choose love every day.
Because one decision can change a game.
One leader can change a team.
And one life, lived with purpose, can change generations.
Welcome to the journey.
